Paramount Theatre Aurora has NAILED IT with Rock of Ages—awesome set, tremendous vocals, witty humor (on the adult-side) — just a super show with all of the great tunes from the 80’s.

ENERGETIC, WELL-LOVED PERFORMANCE
I attended the afternoon performance on 4-23. Judging by the loud cheering and clapping of the audience, and the positive comments of patrons as they were walking up the aisle to leave, I'd say it's a hit. If you do not like loud rock music, hints of sexuality, and swearing it may not be for you. The performers and rock band were top notch, a great outing!

FABULOUS!!!
Unlimited talent and energy! If you ever went to a club in the 80's you will recognize the characters in this show and love the memories! ROA is fun, outrageous, perfectly performed, and 1000% on key! No, its not 'serious' theatre, and it can be a bit racy, but heck - you're a grown up.You can handle it. You've seen racier on PBS. The rare few people who don't like it probably aren't much fun in real life either. Treat yourself to a really great time!

PARODY AT IT’S BEST!
This show was AMAZING! It’s a parody, so its “offense” is really just raucous revelry and tongue-in-cheek; the audience is omniscient as the story does, indeed, telegraph itself. The humor, effects, talent, and spectacular set surprise and delight at every turn.
The band kicks ass. The performers are amazing. SEE THIS SHOW!

GREAT PERFORMANCE
Outstanding show...actors were phenomenal and the set was beautiful...some sexual overtones, but it is to be expected with a Rock & Rock story line...we enjoyed it

I COULDN'T STAND IT ANOTHER SECOND
This play starts out loud & offensive & gets worse. As always at the Paramount, the actors are wonderful, as are the stage sets. The problem is with the play itself. The plot, such as it is, telegraphs itself from two miles away. The music is terrible. I tried to stick it out until the intermission and almost made it, but finally, I had to either get out of there or start screaming in my seat . If you love the 80's rock music scene, you might appreciate this. I did not.

ROCK OF AGES
This story and performance is a bunch of garbage. Do not waste your money or time by attending. It will make you sick. The gross sexual, innuendoes will make you feel dirty all over. The earlier review is exactly how my wife and I felt about this whole show. We too left just before the first intermission. We had to get out of there. It was a sick, skewed picture of sex and of life.
