Paramount Theatre Aurora kicks off its 2020/21 Broadway Series programming with high octane rock and roll tuner Rock of Ages. A full-out, blast-off, hold-onto-your-hairspray celebration of the great rock music of the 80s, the musical opened on the Great White Way in 2015 and garnered five Tony nominations, proving such a hit it's still revived and touring today. The self-referential smash is packed with 30 electrifying hit songs from Journey, Foreigner, Styx, Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi and many more that will transport you back in time to the decade of decadence.

Get ready to swept away by the twinkling timelessness of Cinderella, Rodgers and Hammerstein's definitive rags-to-happy-ending story that has charmed and inspired audiences all over the world since its first broadcast with the legendary Julie Andrews on CBS in 1957. Now revived by the Paramount Theatre, Aurora, during its hotly anticipated 2020 Broadway Series, the production is set to be an opulent affair with high spirited choreography, stunning costumes and a soundtrack of R&H's best songs.

Led by charismatic Freddie Mercury-look-and-soundalike Patrick Meyers, what started as a one-night thing has now spanned over 25 years and been welcomed the world over!

One of the most acclaimed musicals of modern times is back in a brand new revival at Aurora's Paramount Theatre. The winner of four Tonys during its 1998 Broadway debut production, Ragtime is a grand diorama of early 20th Century American life, featuring appearances from some of the most important figures of the day, including Houdini and Henry Ford, all shot through with the music of ragtime.

This beautiful Art Deco-Venetian designed venue is a true representation of early 20th Century Chicago architecture. Designed by Chicagoan architects Rapp and Rapp, it first functioned as a movie theater before a renovation in 1970 to accommodate stage productions and music concerts. Today it is one of the leading businesses in the Aurora area.
